The male hummingbird left about a week ago and I think the female and a juvenile are still out and about feverishly feeding throughout the day from my Major Wheeler, salvias and the feeders. A few days ago, while I was on my deck sipping coffee, she came right up in front of me, stayed for a second and took off to sip on more flowers! I think she may have been thanking me. What an experience!
