There were multiple small roosts and many Monarchs feeding out on the prairie. I was there around 2 p.m. When I returned Friday morning there were only a few. I check again in the afternoon and again just before dusk. There were only a few out on the prairie. I checked Saturday evening and Sunday... On Monday I returned and found some on the prairie but no roosts. I'm thinking that a large number left Thursday late or Friday before 10 a.m. I'm continuing to visit this area to tag when it's not raining and seeing one or two Monarchs at a time.
