Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

All monarchs that I report are in my garden.

I planted a few milkweed plants last year and they ate it all – and I ran out – so this spring I planted about 200 plants that I started from seed (rather small when they ‘landed’ here) and am just about out this year too. I still have about 30 caterpillars in my yard – and I’ve counted about a dozen chrysalis. I think I am on some kind of path for the monarchs.

So I do not hatch nor keep them in my home – but they are outside around my property.

Two sadly had injured wings...so I placed them together. I've learned that you can delicately TRY to repair the wings. Maybe I'll try that next time once I get some supplies. It is hard on my heart to see them like this -
