Thunder rumbled and rain started when we got to Eden Cemetery about 6 pm to check on the monarchs. A few flew around when we reached the low corner of the pines where they've roosted before. More may have sheltered deeper in the trees that we couldn't see. I didn't notice others streaming in. Still warm, 82 degrees.
