Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/13/2019

Number: 41

11 am, 20+ mph southwest wind, 62 degreees after overnight low of 56, clouds breaking up and sun coming out as we arrived at the clover patch. As soon as sun was shining the monarchs began nectaring in the clover, coming out of protected spots in the willows. Also some roosting fairly high on the east side of a mulberry tree along the lane on the west side of the clover patch. I use my 60X zoom on camera and take photos to help with a count, also download and enlarge pics on computer.
