I found a large caterpillar on milkweekd plants in my yard. I brought it into my house,with milkweed to eat. It turned into a chrysalis on 9/3. It emerged today, 9/13. I took it outside; it was still holding onto the chrysalis shell. A few hours later, it (male)flew away.
