The day started out with rain that had moved in during the night before it stopped at 1:30 PM. I decided to walk to the Post Office and I observed just one monarch on a Joe-pye-weed flowers. It was still cloudy and 67F., when I decided to sit on my swing outside and watched for monarchs as the temperature climbed to 76F. The sun came out through the haze and fog at 5:30 PM while 10 monarchs came out of nowhere and landed on my Joe-pye-weed. The Wind today was SSE-12 mph turning SW-9 mph in the late PM. The monarchs left at 7:47 PM.
