When I walked onto my deck I flushed three (3) hummingbirds from the far end that were in a birch tree right next to a feeder I've left up for late migrants. The weather has been very cool, windy and rainy for the past several days and I guess these are some late travelers from Ontario. We live just a couple of hundred yards up from Lake Superior and we get a lot of migrating birds and other migrants (dragonflies and butterflies)here.
