Two weeks ago about ten transient birds joined the 8 summer-long females and juveniles remaining at our feeders and flowers. These newcomers were hyperphagic for about three days, then left. Six of the remaining birds left this week. The juvenile pair fed at the feeder through September 12 then left.
We will report if any transients show up.
