Sept. 13th 2019 Evening At The Tip at Point Pelee National Park. Wasn't surprised after counting 3600 Monarchs in 2 hours this afternoon before the forecast evening thunderstorm, journeying south out over Lake Erie to see only one nectaring on Goldenrod before the rain started at 5:30 pm. With on & off light rain after the event in the visitor centre we went back down to the Tip around 7:20 to see another 5; 2 at Tip Shuttle stop & 3 in an interior protected area.
Southerly wind. 27°c
