Sightings report image

Date: 09/14/2019

Number: 48

Yesterday was a stormy rainy day in Michigan. Today at 1:30 pm it is a beautiful sunny 74 degrees with a mild south wind. I saw 18 Monarch flying from the east, not to high in the sky going west south west at the rate of
1-3 a minute, in spurts. I headed outback to their nectaring field and seen about 30. Our eight acre waystation is really working the way it was designed to. There have been so many monarchs and other butterflies here this year, for me it has been the year of the butterfly.
