I have already reported the 800 in peak migration. This photo shows the way the monarchs would gather together in a group before they would leave our property heading in a westerly direction. These bushes shown here were the last stop before leaving us. These groups kept forming all day, it was like a relay. They would work their way through our yard stopping on the butterfly bushes and other flowers in groups. We have 13 butterfly bushes and a few thousand zinnias and other nectar flowers. It was really quite a sight as if they actually planned their trip together.Waystation #13039
