One was on the ground at 5:30 in the morning. Not sure if it dropped out of the Dawn Redwood tree. It was damp out and temperatures in the upper 50s. I put it on a branch on the dawn red wood were it sat for a few hours. It then attempted to fly but could only go a few feet before it would drop to the ground. I put it on a cone flower were it sat for a hour then attempted to fly, but it dropped to the ground. I had it crawl on my hand were it attempted to clumsily, it landed on a plant. It then crawled to the side of the fence where it spreads its wings like it is trying to warm them. It is now 4:30 p.m, 74 degree. I don’t think it will make it.Wings look fine, just can’t fly.
