Counted 12 ruby throated hummers this evening! Looks like almost all juveniles. Didn't think more would show up after yesterday. Even more swarming around nectar feeders & flowers. Watched two battle in mid-air for several minutes!
Quite the entertainment! Lots of evasive maneuvers needed today The last to go roost for the evening left the yard at 7:39, 3 minutes later than last night. I'm thinking this will be the peak migration at our yard.
