Many single butterflies observed flying thru the mostly oak deep woods as the temperature rose thru the morning.Number is estimated as the stream was observed over 3 hours in the AM . winds were mostly east so the monarchs stuck to the large wooded area working their way thru the woods without headwinds. Steady s amounts so I assume it was a major migration following 2 very cool nites with 50* temps.
