The butterflies were nectaring all day mostly on Stiff goldenrod and New England asters. We have about 2 acres of native plants growing on our property. Around 6:30pm the butterflies started fluttering around the trees. 2 settled in a White Poplar in the front yard. The rest were in the back, in a Box Elder and Walnut. The overnight low 61 degrees F, very calm in the evening but earlier the wind was SSW. Monarch Waystation #9786
