Monarch Fall Roost
Sightings report image

Date: 09/16/2019

Number: 170

7 pm cloudy, 82 degrees, got to the cemetery just as the monarchs were streaming in to roost for the night. They found the same pine tree again, and also roosted in a walnut tree not too far away at the edge of the woods beside the cemetery. I used photos enlarged on computer to get a count, since it was too hard to see in the twilight.
