Sightings report image

Date: 09/17/2019

Number: 3

We have had lot of cold weather. I had three caterpillars in the pop bottle and they all pupated the same night even tho they were of different sizes. I have found 3 more small caterpillars, one only had seed pods left to feed on, and have put them in the bottle with some small fresh leaves. One is already moved to the top of the jug and started pupating. They are only half the size that the big caterpillars are when the pupate. Nights into the low 40's must have triggered the need to get out of dodge.
