Midday, mid-80s, light southeast wind, I count 36 monarchs nectaring, and 77 resting out of the wind in the trees (mostly in mulberry and hackberry) along the lane on the west side of the clover patch. Quite a few painted ladies again, too, and also some skippers that I haven't noticed here before.
Due to travels, unfortunately this will be my last report from this location this season, but I'm sure the migratories will continue to stop here for R&R along their journey south.
