At the Tip at Point Pelee National Park

20°c Clear with strong NE wind 19-27kmh.

Monarchs arrived from the north on the very calm west side & settled individually on Hackberry & Poplar trees.
Very quiet night with another great migration day of almost 10,000 seen flying west of Point Pelee & counted by Hawk Watch Towers & reported to JN.

Asters in the Park are now blooming & throughout the Park the very plentiful Goldenrod is at various stages of bloom.
Beautiful Woodland daisies throughout the Park as well. Also Bouncing Bet & still some Knapweed.
