There's a butterfly garden on the east side of Lake Harriet Upper Elementary School, with a half dozen large tithonia plants, covered with orange flowers. Each one had several monarch butterflies on it, for an estimated total of two dozen. It's been about two weeks since the last tailwind for a southbound migration, so the monarchs are concentrating.
