Two large ruby throated hummingbirds were in our garden at approximately 1pm.
They were drinking from pink weigela bush flowers and orange trumpetvine flowers. We watched them go back and forth for about 10 minutes. (We have 3 hummingbird feeders in the same area, however they had finished that nectar the previous day and we hadn't yet refilled them.)
Sightings have increased over the past few weeks, and the birds are larger.
