After a flurry of Monarch feeding activity this evening, I was disappointed to only find 99 roosting. Started counting at 8 p.m. central time. 3.5 acre property. 45 mins counting individuals. slight breeze. temp 74F. Roosting mostly in pine trees, and some are on maple and bradford pear. we have mexican sunflower, sedum, lantana as primary nectar sources.
