I saw one Monarch roosting in a tree in our yard around dusk. It has been a windy September and I have not observed groups this year. Last year I regularly saw 12-16 Monarchs at a time on my butterfly bushes, as well as large numbers of painted ladies. There are still two cocoons in my garden yet to hatch.
