I visited a roost that’s been on their farm since August 24, and saw hundreds hanging (pre sunrise) as well as lots of them shivering then flying as it warmed.
I had the great privilege to spot an albino monarch that Kylee Baumle took a great photo of.
Went back late afternoon yesterday to see hundreds nectaring in the clover and flying around before they snugged in for the night. It was spectacular.
