As we were turning from Stonecrest Drive onto Benner Pike at about 3:10 PM we noticed a Monarch butterfly heading west across the road, but more climbing than making headway. It continued upward until we could no longer see it.
At the time our skies were fair, the air was calm, and the other conditions were:
