We are still seeing hummingbirds during the day. It is difficult to know if we see the same bird over a period of 30 minutes, or if there are 4 different birds. I believe they are different birds. Over the course of a day, we may see as many as 15 or more birds visiting the feeders. Most of the flowers that had nectar are dying back so the birds must resort to the feeders instead of the natural plants. We usually see the hummingbirds through the end of September.
