Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/20/2019

Number: 10

I just got husband Mike to come out and watch juvies. We have about 10 since 9/ 19. One is a broadtail. I couldn't figure why a Male ruby throat had a red/orangish full tail. Dumb du dumb dumb.He was foot fighting another one last night apparently a sub adult broadtail. Have seen this Male broadtail here since Aug. Wondering why not leaving.

Our first overwintering hummer 2006 was a Male broadtail. Others are Rufous since.
I think hummer population has recovered since Harvey two years ago.
