Stiff goldenrod and New England asters are blooming and attracting the pollinators. In this patch there were so many monarchs, painted ladies, bumble bees and honey bees. Also seen in lesser numbers were viceroys, red admirals, cabbage whites, pearl crescents, common buckeyes, black swallowtails, Tiger swallowtails, summer azures, silver-spotted skippers and a fiery skipper
