4:30pm, 76 degrees F, light south wind, mostly cloudy. Most of the monarchs were nectaring on New England asters and they certainly out numbered the painted ladies today! Since 9/14/19 (when I first observed this 'explosion' of monarchs on our property) I'm so excited to get home from work to see if they are still here! I'm thinking they might be roosting somewhere nearby, since I see a couple monarchs fluttering about around 7:30am. Monarch Waystation #9786
