Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/20/2019

Number: 10

Fall migration is well underway. This may be the most hummingbirds we have ever seen. It started in earnest after Tropical Storm Imelda passed through. Everyone was hungry! They zip around chasing each other; or perch in the trees, vines, or fence; or quietly claim one of the feeders and ignore everyone else until another hummingbird tries to horn in. They are getting fat!
