The migration has arrived in Conroe. We have gone from one feeder to four, and we are having to replenish two of them twice a day.
All are ruby throats, and while there are attempts by individual males to guard feeders, the numbers overwhelm the guard.
This started on September 20th after the monsoon rains in the area had moved on. It is still in progress five days later.
