This one was feeding on a red clover, then flew off toward the south. It appeared to be a new hatch so I would think it was from my general area. The last Monarch caterpillar we had on our milkweeds was killed 9/23 by some kind of shield bug and that caterpillar was still too small to pupate ( I think). So there are still some Monarchs potentially to be hatched here.
