The asters are blooming by the millions in Rollins Savannah, in Grayslake, IL. Near the Drury Lane entrance there are clusters of them. The monarchs were on the purple and pink asters, and ignoring the smaller-blooming white ones. I've never seen so many monarchs in such a short time before!

(Noted MANY dragonflies, too!)
