We continue to see dozens everyday migrating southward. There are still chrysalis in the area as well.
These 24 monarchs were observed throughout the day over a wide area we were working and walking.
At most times they were southwest directional or recently emerged and trying their wings for the first time.
We are in the hills of east central Vermont with many open but separate fields. Our valley runs north to south so virtually all the monarchs we see are in migration.
