This lucky fellow was on a milkweed plant outside the master gardener office. It received a lot of admiration and protection. I went again on the 24th to look for it, but it was gone. I hope it pupated, but I could not find any evidence. I also hope there's time for it to mature before our first frost in a couple of weeks.
