Visited the Jarrettsvile Sunflower fields hoping to photograph the butterflies, but was sorely disappointed. Last year the field was covered with Monarchs. This year just a handful. Heard in the news last night that residents of residential areas adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge are finding hundreds of dead Monarchs in their yards. Possibly due to spraying?
