On my walk today in the early afternoon, I counted 2 monarchs at Harrisville State Park on flowers (no migration); 12 monarchs in the city of which 2 were in directional flight with 10 on dandelion flowers trying to keep out of the strong wind, and I met Larry that counted 3 at his house north of the city. I returned home to count 2 more monarchs in directional flight through my back yard by 5PM as rain moved in. Weather was cloudy with the Wind SSW-18 mph, and the Temperature in the mid 60's.
