Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/24/2019

Number: 6

Lots of activity all day long at the feeders. The hummers are consuming roughly 12-13oz. of sugar water every two days. I think two of them have been here, due to the fact that they look very round, and the others must be new arrivals because they are much slimmer. I have identified three of the newbies as juvenile males--one has shading on throat, another shading and one ruby feather, and the third is very distinctive as the left side of his throat is covered with adult ruby feathers and the right side is still white.
