It's hard to count hummingbirds in a yard where the feeders are arranged in zones with deliberately poor sight lines between them. I spotted hummingbirds on feeders in all three zones, but it could have been anywhere from one to three (or even four) individuals. We're still putting out ten to twelve feeders with warm sugar water, starting before sunrise and keeping some butterfly feeders with overripe fruit (and fruit flies for the hummers) in each zone.
