We planted milkweed and instantaneously attracted monarchs. We had MANY catepillars quickly too. We captured a dozem or so as birds were eating them, and put them in a large glass vase with milkweed clippings (on water) and we continuously added more leaves. A few caterpillars died...but we have chrysalis and several catepillars still eating. Seems like a success so far!
