Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/29/2019

Number: 3

One and two at a time, feeding on the zinnias, poppies and the butterfly bushes. They'll fly off after about 30 minutes and an hour or so later another will arrive. The day is overcast, temps in the mid-60's and humidity around 80%. A few days ago, when it was sunny and warm, there seemed to always be a monarch gliding overhead, from the north, about 40 feet up.
