After heavy rains, windy conditions, and temps in the low to mid 60s in northern Illinois over the weekend, it started to clear off and warm up significantly this morning. On my way to work about 8am I saw one high flying Monarch crossing the road toward a field flying south. In the last hour, while sitting in my classroom I've spotted two high fliers going in a southerly direction high along the rooftop of the building next door.
