7:50pm still hot and humid. I was out for a walk and a couple blocks from my home spotted a female monarch on the neighbors purplish/blue salvia. I expect this is the monarch that was in my garden earlier this p.m. She'll be spending the night roosting nearby. Tomorrow the high will be 61 and after that several days in the 50s with clouds. That monarch could be stuck here for a few days.
