We saw about ten monarchs during the day, all within a mile or so. Some were flying south, and others were nectaring on tithonias and zinnias. Temperatures were around 80 degrees, with a wind from the south at 8 to 10 kph. Humidity was very high. One monarch in our own garden had wing deformities but was flying pretty well. We did not see any tags.
