200-300 monarchs stayed at our farm from Th Sept 18 to Sunday Sept 21...due to high winds and rain. We have many trees on our small property---an oasis in the middle of cornfields---and they found us! They chose red maples, magnolia, hackberry, pine, apple, pear, and cherry trees to roost in.
