Observed most arrive from the north on the calm west side.
Monarchs individually rested on Hackberry. Observed at least 6 nectaring on Asters or goldenrod.
Observed one with proboscis extended to Hackberry leaf.
All appeared pristine.
10/01 forecast to break heat record 30°c.
Temps cooling dramatically afterward with daytime highs of 14-22° & overnight lows down to 7°c.
