Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/01/2019

Number: 2

As of the evening 10/1/2019 I have seen 2 hummers I know one is one of the usual baby's and is getting fat fast the other is standoffish which tells me it's a migrant. The thing that bothers me is the migrant is s is really skinny still. They disappear usually returning to drink then reappear in the evening to drink. Sitting on the feeder for 45 seconds or so at a time at sunset. Its in the 90's in Hamilton, Ohio still and I'm sure they will be gone by Friday 10/04/2019 because as temps go the bottom is scheduled to drop out. I haven't seen an Adult Male since the first week of September and a Female since shortly after. All Hummers at my feeders have had 5 o'clock shadows(Young Males).
