After a day when only one hummingbird made a brief breakfast visit and disappeared with the favorable wind, I wasn't expecting to see hummingbirds, but that wind must have blown some in from further north. There were at least two, with sightings in all of my three "zones" of feeders. I had put out pre-warmed sugar water all around before sunrise, because the temperature was in the high forties with a cold rain. The wind was from the north, then the east. It left the feeder and flew down to the tithonia below to drink from many of the flowers.
