Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 10/02/2019

Number: 1

He's still here! Our faithful little immature male ruby throat. He's been hanging on for several days. Saw him early this morning and several times this evening. His movements are very economical. He moves a few feet from great cover in a spruce tree to the feeder and back to cover. The little guy has extended our season beyond when we thought it would end. At this point he deserves a nickname, "Sprucey". It's been a great hummingbird season!
